How to Make BAGEL AND LOX SANDWICH WITH DILL.

You will always want to make this recipe yourself after discovering how fast, easy, and fun to make. I begin by slicing my bagel into half through the center in a sandwich fashion and then toast the cut sides until golden brown.

In a small bowl, add whipped cream cheese, dill, and fresh lemon juice. Smear whipped cream cheese spread on both sides of the bagel. Then, scatter your capers over the herbed cream cheese smeared bagel. Add your smeared bagel half with slices of lox. Cover with slices of red onion and tomato and that’s it. Enjoy!

Leek & potato soup tips & tricks

  • Do not over-toast the bagel. Toasting bagels enhances the flavor and makes it taste better. But excessively toasting the bagel might ruin your sandwich.

  • Add capers sparingly. As little as capers, they are packed with a huge flavor punch, so avoid adding too many of them.

  • Whipped cream cheese. For a richer flavor, use full-fat plain cream cheese and whip it using a hand-held mixer, or buy pre-whipped to save time!
